It was my first time attending the Sydney Royal Easter Show, and what surprised me most was the diversity of the programme. From agricultural competitions, animal shows and craft markets, to floral competitions, woodworking skills, rides and parades, the whole event was like a well-planned village carnival. You can get up close to the animals and see the spirit of many of the workers on display. However, without the Taiwanese flavour of the stalls, something was missing. Overall, this 100-year-old event gave me a deeper understanding of the cultural values of rural Australia.

Watching Millennium Waves at the Sydney Opera House in Australia was my first encounter with this production on the big screen. Through Shu Qi's portrayal of Vicky, I witnessed the chaos and agitation of Taiwan around the millennium, and mirrored the struggles, choices and growth of Taiwanese people through time. The smoke, tunnels and snow symbolise relationships, egos and colonised memories, while Vicky's transformation echoes my hopes for Taiwan's future - may we all learn to step out of our confusion, just as she has done, to embrace the beauty and freedom of the future with gusto.

某個下班午後回到Ettalong Beach,點了杯冰拿鐵與一塊Lamington蛋糕,開啟一段屬於澳洲的悠閒時光。這塊看似平凡的甜點,其實是經典澳洲美食,背後有著多種傳說故事與歷史意義。從總督命名到法國廚師的巧手創作,它代表的不只是味蕾享受,更是澳洲多元文化的縮影。每一口,都是對在地文化的細膩品味。

筆者身為此專輯主要的音樂創作者及主唱,特別記錄與設計團隊來回討論過程中的思路歷程。專輯視覺之飛蛾與純白,其實在回應《伊帶來的好消息》專輯創作與製作上的核心精神。

透過《流麻溝十五號》電影,我們得以進行集體理解、安慰,互相溫柔包紮歷史創傷的傷口。一部內斂的作品,如詩般地呈現信仰、犧牲與信念的力量,即使在時代的暗溝裡,仍有豐盛的愛流動。

《默島新樂園》是編舞家何曉玫融合台灣民俗與當代表演的沉浸式三幕劇,由觀眾跟隨舞者穿梭劇場空間,經歷信仰、身體、自我與集體記憶的探索。本文記錄觀演者的現場體驗與深刻感觸,並延伸探討在異地生活中對台灣身份與文化的重新認識。

太陽花學運的精神深深地影響著創作。起初以《自由之愛》開啟台灣文學與音樂交織的創作旅程,一直到命題為:《伊帶來的好消息》,在尋求補助與資源的過程,經歷提交文化部補助企劃的期待與等候。

《該死的阿修羅》這場隨機槍擊事件,像是撥開了社會結構的多重裂縫。導演安排了多重敘事與結局,讓角色的命運不只一種可能,也讓觀眾能自由選擇站在哪個視角理解罪與惡。我早已難以用單一價值看待人與事──因為人性是流動的。聖經經文的詮釋,也為憤怒與赦免提供一種深層對照:當我們都不完美,又該如何理解他人、赦免自己?那不死的阿修羅,其實正是我們複雜又誠實的意識本身。

2020年辭去辦公室工作,與伴侶展開澳洲打工度假生活,從地瓜、番茄、藍莓到香菜採收,成了跪在泥土裡的農場小天才。在塔州我們與當地居民共度單純真摯的日子,也在勞動中建立深厚情感。某日,一首〈True Blue〉音樂故事打開了我對澳洲文化的探索,也讓我找回創作初心與自信。

紀錄片《時代革命》回望香港反送中運動,呈現不同世代的抗爭身影,映照時代傷痕與民主信念。
